The effects of dwindling attention span on our veterans.

The effects of dwindling attention span on our veterans. This is a topic that we do not see much about. The general public all agree apps like Tik Tok that have made short videos so popular has a direct result in how long we pay attention to something. The average person has an attention span of about 8.5 seconds. This gives most creators about 2 to 3 seconds to grab your attention.

This fact is not just with our veteran community but anyone that is suffering from PTSD, Studies have shown that people with PTSD have a harder time concentrating. This will also reduce your ability to focus on a topic for a longer period of time. When it comes to our service members this can drastically effect missions, ability to research, and the ability to just always question things and think for yourself.

One of the studies you can read here about the causes and effects of attention span. I plan to dive deeper into this in this episode of the Warriors Scroll magazine. I wanted to take a moment to bring some thought to this. I absolutely would love to get some comments and get the readers thoughts.
