Break glass in case of war is not the only thing that the veteran community should be known for. No different than any one else our youth leave high school with dreams of something bigger than themselves. Each have different reasons for joining the military. The dreams they had get put on hold to serve a country that is bigger then themselves. The dreams get put on hold but not out of their mind. Some had dreams of being Authors, and writing the next great novel. Others dreamed of a filled stadium as they shred their guitar and entertain thousands.
After the service these dreams resurface and is now mixed with the life experiences they had in the military along with their inner desire to create something amazing. When these two things combine the product you get from that artist or author becomes more pure than anything that could have been done prior to their service. Songs about their trials and tribunes. We live in a world that we know what is taught in the future is out of our control.
The best part of having all of this media created by veterans is several things. The creations are helping the artist and people who relate to it heal from trauma. The second part of this is we are documenting the things that has happened in this war that lasted over 20 years. 50 years from now that will be amazing to hear and read the stories from people that was on the ground at the time of the events. If you agree with this subscribe to our blog and read the stories that come from these heroes that continue to serve this country with content that entertains and heals.
