In TERROR TO TRIUMPH, my 83,000-word nonfiction-memoir, I lead my readers through a firsthand account of the horrors of war during the fiercest battles in Ramadi and Fallujah Iraq in the Scout Sniper platoon as I escaped deaths grasp constantly. I take the reader deeper into my mind as I discuss the true horrors of what is seen in war and the struggles that are faced by the families back home when service members return home. I then take the reader back to Afghanistan as I fly as a helicopter crew chief.
Take the final journey by facing the reality of the struggles that servicemen and servicewomen face with copings with the horrors of war, the fight against the stigma of being broken, and finding a way to transition back into the civilian world. This is the hectic journey that one Marine and his family go through after each deployment, finding a way to stay strong through the darkest times and triumphing from the darkness and finding success against all odds.
Beyond my personal experience in my Marine Corps career, providing a firsthand account of the struggles so many service men and woman deal with as they journey through their careers. I have earned a Master of Science in Forensic Psychology from Walden University. I have been asked to be the keynote speaker at many events to include Veteran’s Day celebrations at local universities.
